Global Associate Meeting 18 September 2017 This week’s meeting was led by Dan Andersson LEO CEO. The meeting started with an appeal to help those affected by the recent weather extremes. This was followed by an update on LEO Banking and LEO Gold Vault, a look at the latest news on LEOcoin and the latest details on the extremely busy events schedule. We are launching a crowdfunding project to help rebuild a school in St Martin, the island that has been 95% devastated by the recent hurricane.  We want to raise £20,000 to rebuild and furnish the school. LEO leaders – Isabelle from Guadeloupe and Jean-Michelle from France will be the project creators.  Isabelle has relatives and many friends left with nothing following the events in recent days and there is a desire and a need to help those caught up in this disaster.  LEOcrowd will give a £1397 Consultancy Pack service FREE OF CHARGE as our part in this project. This is a very worthy crowdfunding project indeed. Please join us in supporting its success. If you have been watching the markets you will know that there has been a lot of discussion by financial authorities around the world regarding ICOs and that in many cases they turn out to be a scam. Bitcoin and Etherium have been very price volatile when this discussion started. This was not the case with LEOcoin, and the market has demonstrated its confidence in it and showing its appreciation of the strength underlying of LEOcoin by not letting the ICO debate affect the underlying mood. The debate on whether the FCA should follow China in banning cryptocurrency firms from raising funds through ICOs was covered on many financial news sites. Our views were elicited as part of the debate. Chris Carter, journalist and an expert in cryptocurrency, took the side of YES. Mihir Magudia, executive director of LEOcoin Foundation, put the case for NO. Chris is concerned that Celebrities are shamelessly profiting from ICOs at the expense of less educated retail investors by floating worthless digital assets. So all ICOs should be banned. Mihir counters that a total ban would stifle innovation and is unnecessary if an intelligent approach to regulation is taken: one that weeds out the scams while protecting the real innovators. Staying positive for sales success With the right attitude and a few simple strategies, selling will soon be second nature. Five top tips for staying positive to seriously ace those sales: 1. Affirmations for breakfast: Talk to yourself to create a positive mental attitude and visualise success 2. Reasons to be cheerful: Set achievable goals and a step by step plan to get there 3. Accentuate the positive: Research has proved that by focusing on positive thoughts you improve your chances of success 4. See the funny side: It is great for morale, and will help to build rapport and trust 5. Keep calm and carry on: DON’T PANIC! You will encounter obstacles, look for the positive in them and learn.
